Independence Day 2 failed to Slide Finding Dory in U.S. Box Office - The film Independence Day: the Resurgence is expected to be a summer blockbuster, it was unable to shift the Finding Dory from the position of the number one box office United States (us) this week.
Though still directed by Roland Emmerich, the film a science fiction action it failed to emulate the achievement of the first film. If the first film is capable of reaching 50 million USD in its first week when it was released in 1996, Independence Day 2 was only able to get 41.6 million USD.

In the meantime, Finding Dory still managed with infusion 73.2 million USD with a total income of 287 million dollars.
In the third position, action comedy film belonging to Dwayne Johnson Central Intelligence earn income 18.3 million USD, outperformed other new entrants are two films The Shallows and the Free State of Jones.
